Since 1986, Telos has been providing supervision,
concerned residential care, and effective psychological treatment, which
includes wilderness programming, to boys ages 11 to 17, who are behaviorally
disordered.
**Telos Youth Outposts is located in El Dorado County, California, on Highway 49 in the grass and oak covered foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain gold country, half-way between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. **The home is sited on a private 5 acres in a rural area, so has much outside space and privacy. The spacious four bedroom, three bath ranch style home, with detached office and wilderness center, is home to eight boys and a dog. **Telos is licensed by the California Department of Social Services (License #097000519) **Telos is accredited by the California Association Of Child and Family Services
Mission Statement The mission of Telos Youth Outposts is to provide the children entrusted to us with a well organized and structured home where they can live safely in pleasant surroundings, as friends, while receiving professional services aimed at motivating their substantially improved academic performance, behavioral choice-making, and responsible citizenship. |
